Erased Scenes (from an untouched landscape) is inspired by painting. specifically, it is a combination of manual and digital image editing, resulting in constructed and not photographed landscape collages. it’s an effort to approach the landscape in a theoretical archetype. The attention is not focused at the human presence and when there is evidence of human intervention works as a remnant. One of the main features of this work is the hand operated process, the direct intervention in the photographs and their materiality.
